Do you love fresh strawberries? Here’s a list of farms, not too far from Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, where you can pick-your-own strawberries or buy already pre-picked. Always remember to call the farm to check days and hours they are open, fruit ripeness, and picking conditions prior to your arrival. Also bring cash with you, as not all of the farms accept credit/debit cards, or checks.
Stade’s Farm and Market

They offer 17 acres of prime U-PICK strawberries for your enjoyment! Picking your own strawberries at Stade’s Farm & Market is a great way to spend a summer day with your family and friends.
Throughout the summer, the farm is also popular for u-pick fruits and vegetables including raspberries, tomatoes, and pumpkins.
Beginning Saturday, September 9, 2017, Farmtractions Theme Park will be open weekends only. The theme park includes a petting zoo, corn maze, giant slides, hayrides, (when pumpkins are ready to pick) and a large variety of unique attractions.
